Been watching The Up Series all day, which follows the lives of 14 people beginning when they were 7 in 1964. It’s amazing how people’s lives turn out, how the world has changed throughout the years, and how many of these people seem to get sadder as they get older.
Also, all these little kids english accents are adooooooorable.

True Life: These books always cheer me up when I’ve had a stressful day. Some people like to watch their favorite childhood movies… I read BSC. Sometimes I’m super glad my mom kept all my kids’ books.
Also when I found out there was a super-active fandom for these, made up out of college-and-older people who read them back in the 80s and 90s, my mind was blown. Just… blown.

A great regret of my life is that I donated my hundred-plus BBC books after elementary school.  *Sigh*
Don’t worry though… I still have the Super Specials!
